Welcome to Smith Leonard

At Smith Leonard, our team believes in the value of relationships and a job well done. Beyond the traditional audit and tax services we provide as a CPA firm, our clients look to us as their valued business advisors, and we often consult on additional matters related to family wealth, succession planning, business services, international services, and mergers and acquisitions. We view every client relationship as a partnership and measure our success through theirs.

With a diverse customer base that often defies the firm’s size and a competent and versatile approach, our Smith Leonard team applies years of invaluable experience and technical expertise to many specialized areas across a variety of industries, including manufacturing and distribution, transportation, not-for-profit, real estate, and construction. This depth of experience and commitment to understanding a client’s business translates to exceptional service. We are proud to have four offices in the Piedmont to fit the needs of clients and employees. Our headquarters office is located in High Point. A second office in Lexington houses our business services and real estate teams and our third office in Winston-Salem opened in Spring 2016. In January 2023, we expanded to a fourth office in Hickory with the acquisition of Whisnant & Company.
